pizza!
our famous wood fire oven is on from 5pm

A furnace style wood fire oven ablaze with coffee wood holds centre stage in the upstairs restaurant and turns out many of our signature dishes: bubbly pizzas made from a 48-hour sourdough recipe; pasta al forno (homemade lasagna and bubbly mac'n'cheese); trays of roast veggies that are served straight to the table or make up the fillings of handmade ravioli and salads garnished straight from the organic kitchen garden.

That the food is 100% vegetarian with plenty of gluten-free and vegan options is part of the “earth-friendly food” brand of the company but won’t leave anyone disappointed.

There’s still plenty of richness on the plate in Uncle Tony’s soft polenta with braised beet cheeks: an umami explosion with gorgonzola, truffle oil, walnuts and beetroot molasses that makes a colorful abstract statement about healthy food looking good & tasting great.

Moreover, the golden crunchiness of Italian “fritto” is represented with arancini alla dumbo, fritto misto and parmesan crumbed mushrooms with dill lemon aioli, while silky homemade pasta take centre stage when they are rolled by hand on the impressive elevated pizza bar: an ever-changing cast of fettuccine, caramelle, testaroli, ravioli, tagliatelle, crespelle and gnocchi...
